When you think of Kenny Chesney, you think of a man who knows how to unwind. With songs like “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems,” “When the Sun Goes Down,” “Out Last Night,” “You and Tequila,” and “Bar at the End of the World,” the man the Los Angeles Times called “The People’s Superstar” knows when you work hard, you need a very special song to play. And from that emerged Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Radio channel on SiriusXM, and Kenny Chesney’s Bar at the End of the World, a weekly program spotlighting the singer’s favorite watering holes around the world.

Alongside Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina, Maui’s Mama’s Fish House, Maine’s Allison’s Restaurant, Key West’s legendary Sloppy Joe’s, and The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Boston’s on the Beach has made the inaugural list of Chesney’s favorite bars. A Palm Beach County favorite, Chesney is a fan of the historic club’s laid-back vibe, the reggae bands, and the truly local feel that’s often hard to find in tourist meccas.  Fans and foodies alike can tune into Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Radio channel on SiriusXM, featuring Kenny Chesney’s Bar at the End of the World, a weekly program showcasing the singer’s most celebratory spots around the world.
“If you want real on the coast of Florida,” Chesney says, “Boston’s on the Beach is a good place to find it. People are friendly, the beer is cold, and everybody just soaks up all that living and forgets about their problems for a while.”
“We are thrilled for the opportunity to appear on Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Radio,” says Mark DeAtley, general manager of Boston’s on the Beach. “Our patrons love Kenny’s music, including “When the Sun Goes Down,” which is all about kicking back and enjoying life with friends and a cold beer.”

For more information on Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Radio, please visit kennychesney.com/noshoesradio, or tune into SiriusXM channel 57.

Prepare yourself for a weekend of Mid-Century Americana, when escapism was on the corner of any major city in America – at the local Tiki bar. The Tiki resurgence is here to stay and with an event like The Hukilau™, you’re instantly transported into a past golden age that many of us never had the chance to experience…until now! Think Mad Men, only throw in a flower lei and an authentic Mai-Tai.  Highlights for the 16th Annual gathering taking place June 7-11, 2017 include more music and entertainment, more Okole Maluna Cocktail Academy classes, the full lineup of bands and pop-up bars, more bars added to the Rum Island Pool Party, a new symposium, and a detailed daily schedule spread over two venues: The Hyatt Regency Pier 66 and The Mai-Kai restaurant in Fort Lauderdale.

What is a Hukilau?

A Hukilau [hoo kee lau’] is a method of fishing in ancient villages of Hawaii. Villagers would cast a large net into the sea, herding the fish, then slowly pulled it to shore. The feast that followed was meant to emphasize the spirit of family and community, or ‘ohana. Our mainland Hukilau is a metaphorical net thrown out to the entire world, bringing the lovers of “Polynesian Pop” or “Tiki”culture together for our own special celebration.
