19th Annual South Florida Garlic Fest

The “Best Stinkin’ Party in South Florida” moved and expanded the event last year to a larger venue at John Prince Park located in the funkiest little city in South Florida, Lake Worth. The response from our garlic fans was overwhelmingly positive! More room in a beautiful park setting, easy access from I95 and a relaxing 48-acre campground complete with all the amenities. Our Internationally Award Winning Event continues the tradition of being “The” signature food and entertainment event in South Florida.

This popular food and entertainment event features national act entertainment, Gourmet Alley food area with over 100 garlic laced menu items, a large children’s amusement area with rides, over 200 artist and craft vendors, Garlic Chef cooking competition, the Cloves & Vines Wine Garden and full liquor bars. Founded by a group of local folks looking to establish a fundraising source for local non-profit organizations, the event relies on volunteer organizations to staff the event. That non-profit organization has reached a milestone this year donating over $610,000 and proudly continues to grow its charitable donations each year.

Our internationally award winning event kicks off on Friday, Feb. 9th at 5:00 pm and continues non-stop through Sunday, Feb. 11th. This year, great live music featuring a variety of musical genres from alternative rock, reggae, country, blues, disco and Latin. National acts this year are Hoobastank, Stick Figure and The Donna Summer Celebration featuring Donna’s sister Mary Gaines Bernard!

Friday night, Hoobastank plays their chart topping hits include “The Reason”, “Crawling in the Dark”, and ”Running Away” Lead singer Doug Robb, Dan Estrin and their cohorts have come full circle, taking the reins of their collective destiny, just as they did back in the ’90s when, barely out of high school, they charged out of their West Valley ’hood to become part of a posse of similarly brash and versatile young SoCal hard rock bands like Incubus and Linkin Park.

On Saturday night, we present Stick Figure, a rising roots reggae and dub band, fronted by multi-instrumentalists and songwriter Scott Woodruff. From the musical imagination of Scott Woodruff emerges a vibrant sonic soundscape, revealed in the newest Stick Figure release, Set in Stone. As with his previous releases, Set in Stone was written, produced and recorded by Woodruff, a self-taught musician.

On Sunday afternoon, put on your disco clothes and dancing shoes for the Donna Summer Celebration featuring Donna Summer’s sister and long-time back-up singer – Mary Gaines Bernard! Mary sings all the hits of Donna Summer, the Queen of Disco and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member. In addition to a long list of talented local acts rocking the Garlic Fest stage this year we proudly present The Fabulous Fleetwoods, Oogee WaWa, The Ries Brothers, Colin Axxxwell and Mitch Herrick & The Homegrown Sinners.

Event producers took everything you have always loved about Garlic Fest and made it bigger and better than ever before.
