This “Locomotive of Joy”, is made up by wagons of heart pounding emotions, and breathtaking surprises. 2017’s Pompano Beach Brazilian festival brings a pioneering artistic and cultural concept to Florida, in 300 thousand square feet of Green Area.

The Sixth Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach unites, again, all Brazilian musical styles in 2 days of non stop entertainment and diversity. In 2017, the Main Stage’s Theme pays tribute to the ICONS of Brazilian Popular Music. The “Icons’ Stage” will be transformed into a giant canvas, a work of art with the caricatures of the legends of Brazilian Popular Music by the artist Duda Veronez. After 6 years of unmatched success, and reaching a total capacity with 20,000 people in 2016, the Sixth Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach (6th Brazilian Fest) was extended, and now takes place Saturday, and Sunday. Two hundred Exhibitors, Sponsors, and Brazilian Cuisine Vendors have now two consecutive days of branding, exposure, promotion and sales. Broward County families, visitors, and the general public are welcomed again with free parking, more comfort, and more entertainment options. On October 21st and 22nd , the Pompano Beach Community Park will be transformed into a Brazilian amusement park , a “Brazilian-World” in “Pompano-Land” with Carnival Rides for all families, in an exclusive partnership with “Hildebrand Amusement Rides”, one of the largest and more credible amusement companies in the Country.

Brazilian Popular Music would not have a history without the iconic and legendary Band “PARALAMAS DO SUCESSO”, the main attraction of 2017’s festival. ” PARALAMAS OF SUCCESSO”: the founders of the Rock movement in Brazil, and the Brazilian equivalent to Rolling Stones and U2. More than 34 years of existence, 15 MTV Awards in Brazil, and a multi Latin Grammy Award Winner. The only Brazilian band that simply took over Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay in the 1990s. A sky rocketing career with 15 albums released, and millions of copies sold in both, Brazil and South America. In 2017, after 8 years without a record with unreleased songs, “PARALAMAS DO SUCESSO” returns with the album “SINAIS DO SIM”, which will be officially launched in the US at the Sixth Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach. “PARALAMAS DO SUCESSO”, a “Set of Aces”, formed by the Poet Hebert Vianna, an example of determination, bravery, and courage for the hardworking Brazilian Community of Florida, by Joao Barone, one of the greatest drummers in the World, and Bi Ribeiro, with his pulsating footprint, beat, and harmonious arrangements on the bass . A Band, a Family, a Story that will bring a potpourri of “BRAZILIAN HITS” to the “workaholic” Brazilian Community of Florida.

In 2002, at its climax, the Band “PARALAMAS DO SUCESSO” was hit by a tragedy. Hebert Vianna crashed his plane, losing his beloved wife. After months in Coma, Hebert Vianna’s loss of memory and lack of motion on his legs did not defeat the Band, the Poet, the music and the art. Instead, love for music, passion and humanity united the band even more, and after 2004, the Band sky rocketed all over Brazil to revolutionize again, Brazilian Popular Music.

Our unstoppable “Locomotive of Joy” is an eye catching assemble of “Wagons with Many Brazilian Genres”. Also on October 21st , the Brazilian Band, or “Green Day protegees’”, AUDIO CRISIS brings the story of Alternative Rock to the younger crowd. The greatest successes of Brazilian Reggae is the masterpiece of the upcoming Brazilian Band P.R.A.T.O.
