Residents of Davie and neighboring towns look forward to one particular event each year. In fact, this event began 80 years ago and today, spans 3 days beginning on the evening of Friday , February 4th and continues with a series of family friendly activities until Sunday evening on the 6th. The 80th Annual Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo kicks off on Friday night with a free concert by local Classic Rock cover-band Rema Dee starting at 6:30pm at the Old Davie School Historical Museum, 6650 Griffin Road, Davie. There will be also be Arts & Craft vendors, a bounce house, petting farm and food trucks. The public is invited to bring chairs and blankets and enjoy an evening of live music.
On Saturday, February 25th, the Orange Blossom parade will kick off at 10:00 a.m. and proceed down Davie Road, between SW 39 Street, south to Orange Drive. Take note that this section of Orange Drive will be closed off during the festival. Free activities for Saturday and Sunday include an arts & crafts show, fine arts show, western “Cowboy” town, musical entertainment, Native American display, animal farm, western carriage display, commerce corner, information displays and green product displays.
