The City of Sunrise will once again celebrate independance day in two parts. The morning of Monday, July 4th will consist of a movie-themed parade that will wind its’ way west along Sunset Strip from NW 12th Street to City Park, where the celebration continues with free refreshments and a children’s fun zone. The parade will begin at 9am and festivities will take place at the park till Noon. The celebration continues at 5pm at the BB&T Center where the public is invited to enjoy live music, fireworks, food and beverages for sale as well as children’s rides and inflatables.

7:30 pm Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (contemporary swing, jazz and big band)
9:00 pm Fireworks
Parking and admission are free. The following may not be brought into the event area: large bags, coolers, glass containers, alcohol, pets, weapons, bicycles, fireworks, and any other items deemed inappropriate by site management.
