Deerfield Beach Pioneer Days

On February 17th through the 19th, the City of Deerfield Beach celebrates its roots with a three day festival that features arts and crafts, food vendors, live entertainment and a Saturday parade which concludes with a grand fireworks show.  Pioneer Days (formerly called Founders’ Days), has something to offer everyone in the family with carnival rides, arts & crafts vendors,  a parade, a beach tiki bar, lots of food vendors and let’s not forget Live Music!

Saturday Morning Parade (10am)

Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, the parade will begin at Pioneer Park (501 NE Eller Street)  and will head East on Hillsborough Boulevard, then North on A1A, past the pier and then South along the beach.  The parade will include many local schools, businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Following the parade there will be an awards ceremony at the beach.

Where to Park?

Deerfield Beach FestivalSince the event is set up at the Main Beach Parking Lot, except for minimal Handicap Parking, there will not be any public parking available at the event site. Instead, visitors are invited to park at two free parking lots with available shuttle service.

The Cove Parking Lot:  On Hillsboro Blvd, travel east of Federal Highway (US1) and just before the intracoastal bridge turn right into the Cove Parking lot.The St. Ambrose’ School Parking Lot:  On Hillsboro Blvd, travel east of Federal Highway (US1), then turn right at 12th Avenue.  The parking lot will be on your right at 336 SE 12th Avenue

Shuttles will run between both parking lots and the festival with the following schedule:
Friday 5pm-11pm     Saturday Noon-11pm     Sunday 10am-6pm
