Soy Boricua! Benefit for Puerto Rico

Join us this Wednesday at Cash Only bar in Fort Lauderdale from 6-9pm for an evening of entertainment and fundraising hosted by Amanda Camacho and Elizabeth (Latin Liz) Kobel from to benefit the people of Puerto Rico who are still suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria which devastated the island on September 20, 2017.

The event is appropriately name named ¡Soy Boricua! “A Hurricane Relief Concert and Supply Drive to benefit Puerto Rico”. The word Boricua was derived from the Taino Indian word “Boriken” the name they gave the Island they lived on now known as Puerto Rico. Boricua evokes emotion about a home land and a culture that many world wide, especially expatriated Puerto Ricans miss about their island home and themselves.

A whole host of artists will be donating their time and talents for this much needed benefit:
