Friday Night Sound Waves, the free concert series on Fort Lauderdale Beach will make DC Alexander Park home throughout the month of October. Located at 505 S. Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, concert goers will find ample parking across the street at the neighboring Swimming Hall of Fame. Beach Hopper Tours will provide free shuttle service from the Fort Lauderdale Beach Hub and Oceanside at Las Olas & A1A. The series will resume the final two performances of the season at The Fort Lauderdale Beach Hub on Las Olas & A1A, Friday, November 3 and 10. Show times will remain 6pm – 9pm.
“The Fort Lauderdale Beach Hub at Las Olas & A1A has proved a wonderful stage for our weekly Friday Night concert series,” stated Arianne Glassman, producer of Friday Night Sound Waves. “With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month it’s only fitting that stage is used to shine a spotlight on the pink ribbon art piece donated by AutoNation to the City of Fort Lauderdale, and this most important cause. Until we return to our home in November we look forward to having everyone #MeetMeAtThePARK.”
