I’m no expert when it comes to choosing which among the million or so restaurants located in South Florida to take a date, however, I do have some insight as to what is happening on Sunday, February 14th at businesses that partner with Weekend Broward so here are 3 suggestions.
GREAT PLACES TO EAT & DRINK ON VALENTINE’S DAY
First, Galuppi’s Restaurant and Banquet Facility, located on the greens of the Pompano Beach Municipal Golf Course is offering a Sunday Brunch from 10-2 complete with an omelet and waffle station, peel ‘n eat shrimp, salad bar, pastries, pasta and brisket for only $16.99/pp. Later in the day, they will have a Valentine’s Day Dinner menu with gourmet entrees such as Salmon, Roasted Chicken Breast and Filet Mignon starting at $32/pp. Call for dinner reservations (954) 785-0226.
Next on the list is the Hard Rock Cafe, located inside Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. The Cafe is offering a special Valentine’s Day Menu on both February 13th and 14th with complete dinners for 2 at a set price of $99. Entrees will include Chargrilled Filet Mignon, Norwegian Grilled Salmon, and Grilled Balsamic Chicken. Deser will be appropriately a Baby-Grand Dark Chocolate Piano filled with truffles. In addition to the special Valentine’s Day Menu, Hard Rock Cafe will surprise 14 lucky couples on February 14th from 2pm till 10pm by walking up to them and saying “Dinner’s on us!”.

Last, but not least, your favorite place to Wine, Dine and Dance in the North Beach area of Fort Lauderdale, Fishtales on 33rd, In addition to their complete dinners for $49/couple, this quaint restaurant located a few minutes walk from the ocean will have live entertainment beginning at 2pm with Joey Kennedy and Josh Smith with Kirk Fletcher from 8-Midnight.
