The 3rd Annual Greater Fort Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival (GFLFW) presented by Visit Lauderdale, Broward County’s premier foodie experience, presents a week-long series of events throughout Broward County from Monday, January 10 – Sunday, January 16. In addition to its signature events – Cocktail Confidential, Poolside BBQ Battle, Grand Tasting and Family Day presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, this year’s Festival will feature a Savor Dining Series, Culinary Education Series, Kids Can Cook Culinary Classes and Wine Seminars presented by New York Wine & Grape Foundation in partnership with Experience! The Finger Lakes. This year’s Grand Tasting and Family Day experiences will take place in the heart of Fort Lauderdale Beach at Las Olas Oceanside Park, located at 3000 E Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.
“Each year we want to bring something new to the Festival experience,” said festival founder Kate Reed. “The addition of the Culinary Education Series and Kids Can Cook Culinary Classes provide more opportunities for guests to get hands-on, and we look forward to offering a unique and elevated experience with the addition of two Wine Seminars, hosted by Sommelier and Professor of Wine, Laura Winter Falk.”
The Grand Tasting will feature bites from more than 40 restaurants – doubling in size from its inaugural Festival, with nearly 40 beverage partners to wash down the bites, ranging from a variety of wines, craft beers and spirits.
