4th of July Events in and around Fort Lauderdale

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate independence day this Monday, July 4th, 2022, you’re in luck! We have scoured the internet, social media and websites of local municipalities with a focus on those who will be supporting and promoting live music in addition to the traditional fireworks shows.  Here is a summary of what we found:

City of Coral Springs: Residents are invited to celebrate Independence Day with Live entertainments starting at 5pm and a grand firework display set to start at 8:30 p.m. at Mullins Park. Admission and parking are free. Family-friendly activities include a Sports zone, Inflatables, and Arts & Crafts. City of Coconut Creek residents traditionally attend fireworks a day early at the Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek on July 3rd. This year, Miami-Based The Regs will be forming outside the front entrance to the casino starting at 8pm.  Get there early and bring lawn chairs or head to the rooftop parking garage for an even better view of the fireworks.

City of Deerfield Beach: For 2022, Deerfield Beach brings the celebration and fireworks back to the beach, complete with live music from 4 different bands ranging from 12:30 to 9pm. [Read more…]

The Town of Davie will host the annual Independence Day Fun on the 4th event at the Bamford Sports Complex/Pine Island Park located at 3801 S. Pine Island Road, on Sunday, July 4, 2021, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. featuring live music from the Yacht Rock Club and Whiskey Country.  This event has limited access to Davie residents only.  The event is free and residents must pre-register beforehand.

City of Fort Lauderdale: Celebrate America’s Independence Day at the City of Fort Lauderdale’s free 4th of July Spectacular! The Independence Day Celebration will feature a patriotic extravaganza on and along Fort Lauderdale Beach featuring live bands, a kids zone, beach games, contests, family activities and a dazzling fireworks display. The kids zone provides nonstop energy and excitement with plenty of music, bounce houses, face painting, old-fashioned hot dog and watermelon eating contests, and a variety of other amusing beach games. As the sun goes down, the celebration heats up with live music and entertainment. City of Hollywood:  Sponsored by the City of Hollywood Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts and the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency-Beach District, all are welcome to celebrate our nation’s 246th birthday at the Hollywood Beach Theater on Sunday, July 4, 2022. City of Miramar 4th of July Independence Day Concert and Fireworks Display.  Free and open to the public with prior registration via Eventbrite, this year’s event promises a fun kids zone, local vendors, food trucks and a fireworks finale. The City of Pembroke Pines  The City of Pembroke Pines welcomes both residents and guests for the Annual Fourth of July Celebration on Monday, July 4, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Pines Recreation Center Festival Grounds located at 7400 Pines Blvd.  This free event includes live music, rides, food trucks and a breathtaking display of fireworks.  The celebration is free and open for all ages. City of Pompano Beach:Pompano’s annual July 4th Beach Bash Extravaganza takes place along Pompano Beach Boulevard with live music beachfront beginning at 5:30 pm from Shadow Creek Band followed by the Derek Mack Band at 7pm to perform some of your favorite Top Hits from the 80’s through today!  Fireworks will be launched from a floating barge in the ocean off of the end of the Fisher Family Pier at precisely 9pm. City of Plantation celebrates Independence Day beginning at 9:00 am with a parade starting from the corner of West Broward Boulevard and N.W. 46th Avenue. The parade heads west to N.W. 69th Avenue, turning right on N.W. 4th Street, ending at City Hall with an awards ceremony.  A Kids Zone, Concert followed by Fireworks will be held at the Plantation Central Park Ball Fields. The kid’s zone begins at 6:00 pm and the concert begins at 7:00 pm, featuring Big City Dogs, a classic rock & blues band. The Fireworks follow at 9:00 pm featuring Zambelli Fireworks.

The City of Sunrise: is once again, going all out to make their City the place to be on the 4th of July with celebrations taking place at two seperate locations from morning till nightfall.   The day will start off with a parade making its way along Sunset Strip from NW 12th Street to City Park, where the fun will continue with free refreshments and a children’s fun zone – including an inflatable water slide. Young children can also enjoy City Park’s playground and splash pad. The parade and family fun day will start at 9am and run till Noon.  The second part begins at 4:00pm at the FLA Live Arena where families will find live music. children’s rides and activities, along with an assortment of food and beverage vendors followed by a fireworks finale. City of Tamarac presents an All-American Celebration on Monday July 4th at the Tamarac Sports Complex. Colorful fireworks will illuminate the night sky after the energetic sounds of the The Cachet Band. Great fun and tasty food will be available for the whole family. [More details…]


4th of July Celebration at Sunset Cove Amphitheater – Presented by West Boca Community Council and the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. Featuring kids funzone, concessions, welcome booth & interactive prize wheel, live music by Journey Tribute band, Odyssey Road capped off by fireworks! Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome​. Gates open at 5:30 pm.

Fabulous Fourth Celebration in Boca Raton – Annual festivities at Spanish River Athletic Facility at deHoernle Park  kick off 5:30 PM with amusement rides, kids’ crafts, video game trucks, interactive musical instruments, strolling entertainers, kids’ DJ, food trucks and more family friendly fun. Mainstage music by Matthew Sabatella and the Rambling String Band playing traditional folk songs, fiddle tunes, old-time country, bluegrass, Appalachian music, ragtime blues at 7:00 PM followed by Fireworks display at 9:00PM

July-4th-Celebration-in-Delray-Beach – starts at 5pm with a solemn 60’ flag raising ceremony, with an honor guard and the singing of the National Anthem.  This beachside celebration has something for everyone – a custard-eating and cheeseburger-eating contests, food trucks and vendors, children’s activities and games, non-stop entertainment with DJ Big Smile and Groove 2.0 Band, and so much more! The spectacular Zambelli Fireworks will start promptly at 9:00pm. East Atlantic Avenue from the Intracoastal Bridge to A1A.

4th on Flagler in West Palm Beach –live entertainment with Reverend Barry and the Funk on the NewDay USA Stage, two jammin’ DJ’s, The Bill Bone 5K, Palm Beach Health Network’s Family Chill Zone featuring a hands-on kids’ area, Military Honor Salute, and food and beverages available for purchase. An 18-minute fireworks show over the Intracoastal Waterway at 9pm.  Meyer Amphitheatre & Waterfront, 6-10pm

Village of Royal Palm Beach 4th of July Celebration – A day filled with activities for the whole family including concerts by 56-Ace (6pm) and a Bee Gees Tribute (8pm and 10pm). Royal Palm Beach Commons Park, 1pm

City of Boynton Beach 4th of July Festivities will take place on Monday, July 4 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.  The celebration will include two spectacular water shows by Palm Beach Hydroflight (6:35 pm and 7:35 pm), two kid’s areas with a large beach sand pile to climb. The main stage will feature headliner band No Big Deal, while a smaller stage will feature Peter Bernard steel drum music.  Intracoastal Park (2240 N. Federal Hwy.)

City of Lake Worth with Raft Parade and Race – The day starts with the Raft Parade at 10am (starting at J Street heading East on Lake Ave and ending at Bryant Park) & The Great American Raft Race at Noon (at Bryant Park Boat Ramps).
