Diogo das Virgens is a most talented and charismatic artist. He gets the audience going and puts on a real One Man acoustic show as well as a full band for a cheering and dancing crowd. His set list is huge and covers everything from dinner music (jazz and bossa nova style) to happy and fun Pop, Blues, Reggae, Rock n' Roll tunes. This South Florida-based indie-rock duo focuses on tight, swirling harmonies, folkpunk-like musical backing, ragged Neil Young influences and tenor vocals initially drew comparisons to fellow Southern-based indie folk rockers Shovels & Rope. Multi-instrumentalists Paula and Kevin formed the group in 2009 after a twenty something year hiatus from the mainstream musical world. From their warm soothing vocal harmonies to Johnne’s blazing guitar solos, they are a perfect dynamic & versatile crowd pleasing duo.
Alvin L. Jackson a.k.a. A-stone is a native Miamian that got his first taste of music influence in the church where he grew up singing and playing multiple instruments. To take it to another level Alvin went on to earn an AA & BA and recently a Master’s degree in Music from the University of Miami. While in school sharpening his craft, Mr. Jackson performed in countless plays, musicals, operas, live jazz bands and even gigs that toured around the world that has distinguished, groomed and mold him into his own.
The Mitch & Tom show is not your average acoustic duo. We play a very eclectic mix of music from The Beatles to Steve Earle to Kiss to even Britney Spears! Our setlist is constantly changing, so you never know what you might get, but one thing you always get is fun
