The 16th Annual Finnegan’s Wake, Parade & Street Party kicks off St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on Sunday, March 15th beginning at 4 P.M. at Big Dog Station located at the intersection of E. Oakland Park Blvd and NE 12th Ave in Fort Lauderdale. The Hearse will arrive promptly at 5 P.M. to lead the parade and the party continues through Tuesday, March 17th!

Proclaimed as the most “Hilarious event ever!”, attendees will experience a mock Irish Wake, Hearse w/Poor Ol’ Tim Finnegan with Police Escort followed by the Pipers, a cast of characters….”Am Papa Dave the Pope” in his Popemobile, Sister Brittany Holywater, Father O’Hanlon and the Weeping Widow. St. Patrick ’tis himself, the Grand Leprechaun, the Mayor of Ft. Liquordale, mourners and weepers escort Tim Finnegan to the bar. Six pallbearers will bring the coffin into the bar and open it up as everyone chants “Oh Danny Boy” and the party begins!
Joe Doherty & His Irish Clovers headline the live performance at the Street Party! Chef Mike Fitzpatrick will be cooking up his famously delicious Corned Beef & Cabbage. The U.S. Marines Det. 1058 will show up in their Golf Cart and a 50/50 Raffle all benefit these great Veterans. Wait till you see the leprechaun contest!
