The City of Hollywood, Hibernians of Hollywood and the Community Redevelopment Agency team up to host this annual, free celebration of all things Irish. This year’s parade and festival will run from noon to 6 p.m. in the heart of Downtown Hollywood. The parade begins at 1 p.m. and will travel east on Hollywood Boulevard from 21st Avenue to Young Circle, returning on Harrison Street to 21st Avenue.
Radio personality Footy will emcee the parade featuring Grand Marshal Thomas M. Lynch IV, dozens of floats, local marching bands and spectacular bagpipe and drum corps including the famous New York Police Department Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Corps. Anniversary Park will go green and transform into the “Magic of the Emerald Isle” children’s activity area featuring games and crafts for youngsters of all ages.
There is an exciting line-up of traditional Irish entertainment and award-winning Irish bands including headliner Emish, a Celtic rock band that headlines major festivals and concerts across the United States, Joe Dougherty and UV the U2 Tribute Band. Performances will take place on the stage at 19th Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.

Downtown Hollywood restaurants will be offering festival specials including Irish favorites like Corned Beef & Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie and green-colored drinks! $10 event parking in City owned garages. Additional parking will be available in convenient, marked lots throughout downtown Hollywood.

On Sunday, March 13th drivers are urged to seek alternative routes to avoid congestion. From 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Hollywood Boulevard from 18th Avenue (Young Circle) to 21St Avenue; 19th Avenue and 20th Avenue from Harrison Street to Tyler Street; North and South west parking pods at Young Circle (La Piazza & Lebo). From 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. 21st Avenue from Washington Street north to Hollywood Boulevard, Young Circle (Federal Highway) from Tyler Street to Harrison Street, Harrison Street from 18thAvenue (Young Circle) to 21st Avenue.
