Celebrate America’s Independence Day at the City of Fort Lauderdale’s free 4th of July Spectacular, featuring live bands, a kids zone, beach games, contests, family activities and a dazzling fireworks display. The 4th of July Spectacular takes place Thursday, July 4th 2019 from Noon till 9:30 p.m. on Fort Lauderdale Beach at the intersection of A1A and Las Olas Boulevard.
A Kids Zone will provide non-stop energy and excitement along with plenty of music and comic relief from Noon to 5:00 p.m. Highlights will include DJ, music, bounce houses, water slides, face painting, beach games and contests. Make sure to bring your appetite so you can compete in an old-fashioned hot dog eating contest. And if that doesn’t fill you up, top it off by participating in a July 4th apple pie eating contest!

New Stage Location
The Family Zone will be in the same location as the past 5 years, just south of Las Olas. This year, the main stage will be located just south of Las Olas across from Bubba Gumps on A1A.
Stress-Free Transportation Options
Avoid the traffic congestion and limited parking on the beach by taking Water Taxi from downtown locations as well as the Doubletree Hotel next to the Galleria Mall.
