In honor of Independence Day, the City of Margate and the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency are hosting the annual Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Celebration on Saturday, July 4th. The celebration will begin at 9 a.m. with the City’s popular parade followed by a post-parade picnic and an evening concert. The celebration culminates with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m. at Margate Boulevard and 441.
Parade 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Beginning at 9am, a sea of red, white, and blue will parade down Margate Boulevard eastbound from 76 Avenue to State Road 7. Immediately following the parade, the MCRA will provide refreshments and a fun obstacle course for eventgoers to enjoy. Registration is open and is free for anyone wishing to be part of the parade. Calypso Cove 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Calypso Cove – the City’s waterpark featuring a plunge pool, a swimming pool and a zero-depth activity pool with water spraying animals, palm trees with tipping coconuts and a play structure – will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a Fourth of July pool party featuring live music by a steel drummer and face painters. Admission is $4 for Margate residents and $7 for non-residents.
4th of July Extravaganza – Food Trucks, Concert and Fireworks 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Come out early for an old fashioned 4th of July extravaganza at the NW corner of Margate Blvd. and State Road 7 begins with food trucks and live music by Attica, a six-piece band playing classic rock and contemporary pop hits.
The night concludes at this location with the spectacular fireworks, which will light the Margate skies starting at 9 p.m. for approximately 20 minutes.

- 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.: Eastbound lanes of Margate Blvd. from 76 Ave. to State Road 7
- 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Margate Blvd. from the Clock Tower to State Road 7
- 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.: State Road 7 from Atlantic Blvd. to Coconut Creek Pkwy.
