Dancing in the Street brings live music and more to Oakland Park


The City of Oakland Park hosts a mile long block party from Jaco Pastorius Park to Oakland Park Boulevard (on 12th Avenue) on Friday, January 26th, 2018 from 6 to 10pm.  Multiple live bands and performers complimented with food trucks, local restaurants & bars selling food & drink along Main Street from Oakland Park Boulevard to NE 38th Street.

Performers at the 2018 Oakland Park Dancing in the Street event will include: Glyn DryhurstMurph AucampJoel DaSilvaPocket Change, and Synthesisband.

A lineup of Food Trucks will be on hand for good eats, and local downtown Oakland Park businesses will host family-friendly activities.

Oakland Park CRA will present the premier of a new urban greenspace POPUP Park with live art by #OaklandPark artists Stoked On Salt & Art Buzz at Oakland Park Dancing in the Street sponsored by Allied Kitchen and Bath & Urban Farming Institute.

Getting there

Ride the trolley and check out all the fun from NE 36th Street & 12th Avenue to NE 32nd Street.

Free parking will be available in the Dixie Lots at NE 38th Street & Dixie Highway and at 12th Avenue and NE 32nd Street.
