Delray Beach 4th of July Celebration 2019
Head to the beach for a day-long celebration this 4th of July with activities for all ages culminating in an amazing fireworks display just off the sands of Delray Beach centered at A1A and Atlantic Avenue. Located beachfront, this annual event features live music, food vendors, fun activities for the whole family beginning at 5pm with a Flag Raising and capping off the night with Fireworks at 9pm. Additional activities will be held in the area as early as 8am.

8:00 am – 12:00 pm: Sandcastle Contest sponsored by Silverball Museum and hosted by the H.O.W. Foundation of South Florida
8:00 am – 1:00 pm: 4’s on the 4th – Beach Volleyball Tournament
12:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Water Activities on the South end of the Beach (weather permitting)
3:00 pm – 3:30 pm: Custard Eating Contest sponsored by BurgerFi
3:30 pm – 4:00 pm: Cheeseburger Eating Contest sponsored by BurgerFi
5:00 pm: Flag Raising Ceremony at E. Atlantic and Gleason St
5:30 pm: Non-stop Music with DJ SoNyce at the Teen Stage on E. Atlantic and E. Rd
8:00 pm: National recording artist MAX on the Marriott Delray Beach Main Stage
9:00 pm: Fireworks show by Zambelli
FOOD
In addition to many area restaurants, food offerings will include pizza, burgers, guacamole, tacos, hoagies, calzones, pierogies, soft drinks, water, ice creams, shaved ice, milkshakes, and multiple beer gardens!
PARKING & STREET CLOSURES
Streets close at 1:30 pm Wednesday July 4th. The event is held on East Atlantic from the Intracoastal Bridge east to A1A, A1A from Thomas to Miramar. Streets reopen at 11:00 pm.
