The City of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea will, once again, play host to several events to commemorate the fourth of July this year beginning with a parade starting behind Town Hall at 10am and ending the day off with Fireworks at the beach (just north of Commercial Boulevard and El Prado Park). Presented by the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Volunteer Fire Department, the parade will be followed by a day of festivities at El Prado Park. Family Fun Day will feature a waterslide and fire truck for the kids, as well as other fun activities. Holiday fare will include hot dogs, lemonade and other kid-friendly food. Ride sharing or other public transportation is strongly encouraged.
