The Great American Beach Party returns to the beaches of Fort Lauderdale with much fanfare on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. with most activities taking place at Las Olas Oceanside Park. At least 3 bands are on the schedule including Beach Bumz, a tribute to both Jimmy Buffett and The Beach Boys followed by The Valerie Tyson Band, a popular south Florida band with a wide of selection of popular hits from past decades. Other highlights include a kids zone, a car show, a sand sculpting contest, a tribute to the U.S. Armed Forces, and a parachute jump demonstration by the SOCOM Para Commandos!

Getting There
ROAD CLOSURES – Las Olas Boulevard between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard will be closed from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 28. Northbound A1A traffic may access turnarounds at Poinsettia and Cortez Streets. Southbound A1A traffic may access turnaround at 600 Seabreeze Boulevard. Las Olas Circle is closed north of the Las Olas Garage as well as the southbound lane of Birch Road between Poinsettia and Cortez Streets. Anyone traveling south on Birch Road towards the Garage must detour to Seabreeze Boulevard at Cortez Street in order to head south. Motorists should expect heavy traffic and are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate travel routes or transportation.
