The Village of North Palm Beach Parks and Recreation Department brings the annual Hot Cars & Chili back to Anchorage Park on Saturday January 28, 2023. This much anticipated annual event draws hundreds of classic car aficionados out to the park for the entire community to enjoy. There is no charge for the public to attend and only $5 to sample all the chilis and vote for a favorite! Plus, live music by Uncle Juice.
Open Car Show
The open car show draws approximately 100 classic cars each year. A variety of prizes will be awarded including Participant’s Choice, Staff’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice and the top NPB Resident Car award. The public can enjoy viewing an array of beautiful antique cars/trucks and even some newer models.
Applications to participate are available to download online and need to be returned to Anchorage Park activities building at 603 Anchorage Dr. in North Palm Beach. Car entry fee is $15 if you pre-register, $20 the day off the event.

Local chili teams consisting of individuals, clubs and restaurants will concoct their chili specialties for the public to sample. They are trying to gain your vote of approval. For a $5/person donation the public can sample all the chilis and vote for their favorite! Proceeds benefit the youth sport programs at NPB Recreation. There are two chili judging categories: Judges’ Choice and People’s Choice. A team of 3 Judges will walk through to judge each team’s presentation/display at approximately 11:30. Chili judging by the public is from 12 – 3 pm, or
