Each year the City of Hollywood and The New Hibernians of Hollywood team up to host an annual, free celebration of “all things Irish.” This year’s parade and festival will take place at noon and end just before the sunsets over Hollywood with plenty of live entertainment throughout the day. For 2023, the 22nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival in downtown Hollywood will take place on Sunday, March 12th.
Traditional Float Parade
The parade begins at 1 p.m. at Harrison Street and 21st Avenue. The parade will wind its way through downtown Hollywood, heading northbound to Hollywood Boulevard, east to Young Circle and south to westbound Harrison Street returning to the starting point. The parade will feature an entire hitch of the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales, dozens of festive floats, local marching bands and spectacular bagpipe and drum corps including the famous New York Police Department Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Corps. Anniversary Park will go green and transform into the “Magic of the Emerald Isle” children’s activity area featuring games and crafts for youngsters of all ages.
An outdoor stage will be erected at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and 19th Avenue, near Mickey Byrnes Irish Pub.
Performances will take place on the stage at 19th Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.
