The much anticipated summertime treat of spending the day on the beach with a gathering of family and friends will include both music on two stages, as well as fun and games for the whole family on Tuesday, July 4th from 2 – 10p.m. Pick your spot along the beach at Charnow Park’s splash pad, beach games, relaxing under umbrella or grab your favorite percussion instrument to play along with beachside entertainers. The celebration concludes with a star spangled offshore fireworks display at 9p.m.

- Johnson Street Plaza: noon to 8:00 p.m. Social Media Station.
- Charnow Park: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. music and games with DJ Gamesmaster Tony Mixx
- Beachside Stage at Charnow Park: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Concert featuring 13th Army Band of the Florida National Guard.
- 7:00 p.m. Official Welcome at the Beachside Stage
- 9:00 p.m. dazzling offshore fireworks display.
Due to heavy traffic and limited parking, spectators are encouraged to utilize the free shuttle buses located at the two downtown Hollywood garages. The Radius garage is located at 250 N. 19 Avenue, with the shuttle stop on the northeast corner of Tyler Street and N. 19 Avenue. The Van Buren street garage is located at 251 S. 20 Avenue, with the shuttle stop on the southeast corner of Van Buren and 20 Avenue. The free buses to the beach will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with returning shuttles running from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The drop-off location for the shuttle buses will be at Connecticut Street and A1A.
Intracoastal Waterway bridges will maintain their regular schedules throughout the day and early evening. From 8 p.m. to midnight the following bridges will remain in the down position to allow vehicular traffic to enter and exit the beach: Dania Beach Boulevard, Sheridan Street and Hollywood Boulevard.
From 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., incoming vehicular traffic to A1A between Hollywood Boulevard and Sheridan Street will be closed:
- Eastbound traffic on Hollywood Boulevard onto the beach will be diverted to southbound A1A.
- Northbound traffic on A1A will be diverted to westbound Hollywood Boulevard.
- Southbound traffic on A1A will be diverted to westbound Sheridan Street.
Vehicles parked on Garfield Street and all points south will be directed southbound on A1A. Vehicles parked on Connecticut Street north to Thomas Street will be directed northbound to Sheridan Street. Vehicles parked at North Beach Park and all points north will be diverted northbound to Dania Beach Boulevard.

Garage parking is available at the following locations on Hollywood Beach: Hollywood Beach Parking Garage, A1A and Hollywood Boulevard; North Beach Park at Sheridan Street and A1A (must enter before sundown), Garfield Parking Garage at Garfield Street and A1A; Keating Park at 2400 S. Ocean Dr.; and the Dunewalk/Summit Lot at 1200 S. Ocean Dr. and the Westin Diplomat Landings Garage at 3555 S. Ocean Dr.
