2015  marks the 7th year that the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood Florida participates in Hard Rock Rising global battle of the bands.  All hands are on deck this month to recruit local bands that can go all the way to Barcelona, Spain where they will have a chance to play in front of 40,000 fans at the first-ever Hard Rock Rising Barcelona music festival in Spain this summer!

The competition is split up into several Phases of which the first is now in progress.

Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood will host a total of 12 bands (3 per week) chosen by a combination of online votes and the discretion of staff and management of the Café .  The Café will work with a panel of three judges who are familiar with the local music scene to assist with selecting weekly winners based on various criteria such as Musicianship, Voice Talent and Originality.

The winning band will receive a prize of $1,000 and move on to the next phase of the competition.
