Where can you enjoy local seafood, browse through endless local vendors AND experience live music? The Pompano Beach Seafood Festival will let you do all of the above at the same time! This year marks the 29th annual return of the jam packed beach area event, sure to satisfy every craving for the very best South Florida locals have to offer. In past years, the festival has covered every inch of the event grounds with local food vendors, craft vendors and topped it all off with live music throughout the three day event. They have always aimed to please and this year is no exception! The City of Pompano Beach has widened the beach area while the organizers has enlarged the main stage and added more beach seating. So, you’ll be able to load up on your favorite bites to eat and find a seat to relax and enjoy the show! The event kicks off on Friday, April 26th at 5PM and continues until Sunday, April 27th at 8PM.

The Seafood Festival is considered one of South Florida’s most exciting beach parties, with live music, fantastic seafood and the Boardwalk Bazaar, host to arts and crafts vendors. Some of the best local restaurants prepare the fresh catch of the day and offer samples at their kiosks.
This year’s array of food vendors will satisfy every craving you may have for great local delights. Some of the best local seafood restaurants will be serving up their specialties all throughout the festival. While most of the food presented is local seafood, there will also be other types of food and snacks all weekend long.
Kicking off the event’s entertainment on Friday is reggae band Fourth Dimension at 6PM.
Be sure to stick around to catch Never Stop Believing, the ultimate Journey tribute band, at 8:30 PM.

Don’t miss Pompano Jacks, on the south side of the pier, providing beach music all weekend. The Pat Larkin Community stage at the south end of the boardwalk, will also host a variety of local musical acts throughout the festival.
Festival entrance is at the Pier parking lot on NE 2nd St., between A1A and Pompano Beach Blvd. A free trolley service is available for those that utilize the parking along Atlantic Blvd, between A1A and the Intracoastal. This is also for those that park in the bank parking lots along Atlantic Blvd. No outside drinks, coolers or pets of any kind are permitted.
Did you know? The Seafood Festival is a non-profit event and revenues benefit a variety of charities and organizations. The event is primarily volunteer- driven which means every detail is from the heart. Some of the many groups to benefit from the event: Boy Scouts, Pompano Proud, Pompano Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis, Women in Financial Services and many more. Over the years, the event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep these and other groups going and going. Daily admission is $15 while kids under 12 are FREE!
