South Florida Folk Festival goes Virtual

Since its inception in 1992, the South Florida Folk Festival has been a combination of a music festival, family reunion, community gathering, and weekend musical retreat. This year, for the first time ever, the Broward Folk Club will be presenting the annual weekend festival in a virtual format. Music lovers of all ages are invited to watch performances via YouTube Live and/or Facebook Live from the safety and comfort of their homes or social bubble on Saturday and Sunday February 13-14th. The 2021 festival lineup features music for everyone, blending the best singer-songwriters and performers from North America and Europe, along with home-town Florida favorites, for a weekend of folk and acoustic music.

Festival organizers say: “The Broward Folk Club is dedicated to keeping folk and acoustic music alive and vibrant into the future and we’re confident that this virtual festival can do just that! We are very excited to bring The South Florida Folk Festival to the public and continue a nearly 30 year tradition of listening to our favorite music together.
